Salman Khan’s 2015 film Bajrangi Bhaijaan remains one of the most successful blockbusters of his career, striking an emotional chord with audiences worldwide. The heartwarming tale, directed by Kabir Khan, followed the journey of Pavan (Salman Khan), a devout Hanuman devotee, as he embarks on a mission to reunite a mute Pakistani girl with her family across the border.

The film's storytelling, narrative, and outstanding performances from the cast, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Harshaali Malhotra, made it an overwhelming success. Given the film's massive popularity, fans have long wondered whether there could be a sequel to this beloved movie.

According to recent reports, there may be a glimmer of hope for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Speculation has been sparked following Salman Khan's recent meeting with renowned screenwriter V Vijayendra Prasad.

An industry source revealed to Pinkvilla, "Salman Khan has met V Vijayendra Prasad a couple of days back. They have come up with an idea, and discussions are on that could be for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Moreover, there is a chance of possible collaboration between V Vijayendra Prasad and director Kabir Khan, the trio is coming together. However, nothing has been finalised yet."

While no official announcements have been made, the possibility of a sequel is exciting for fans who have been eager to see more of the beloved characters. Director Kabir Khan has previously hinted at the potential of continuing the story.

In an interview with Connect Cine, he shared, "If you ask me abhi kuch hai script k level pe toh nahi. Ideas hai and there are many interesting ways of taking Bajrangi forward." Khan further added that although the script is not yet ready, he has interesting ideas for where the story could go, particularly exploring the continued adventures of Bajrangi and Chand Nawab, played by Salman and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, respectively.

While the talks of a sequel are still in the early stages, it’s clear that the possibility of Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 has captured the imagination of both the filmmakers and the audience.
