Football legend Lionel Messi arrived in Mumbai for his eagerly awaited GOAT India Tour 2025. Kareena Kapoor went to meet the football legend with her boys, Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan.

The actress along with her sons met Messi on Sunday, December 14, in Mumbai. She also posed with the footballer with her sons. The actress spotted outside the venue and looked happy after meeting Messi. The paparazzi videos are now going viral on social media.

Just hours before meeting Messi, Kareena shared a picture of herself and her boys, Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan, getting ready to meet the football icon on social media ahead of the Mumbai event.

A candid moment prior to the big day was captured in Kareena's snapshot posted to Instagram Story. The kids proudly sported football jerseys as she led them out while wearing a khaki dress. Jeh's jersey said "Argentina," but Taimur's had Messi's name on the back.

When Messi arrived in Mumbai over the weekend, supporters flocked to the Taj Mahal Hotel to see the world-famous player. His visit to Mumbai comes after the Argentine superstar was met with an enthusiastic response from football fans at crowded receptions in Hyderabad and Kolkata.

The state's Sports Department will select under-14 football players from all over Maharashtra for a special training session with Messi on Sunday as part of his visit. The program seeks to inspire the upcoming generation of sportsmen and provide young players with uncommon exposure to international football.
