Shreya Gupto, who recently featured in the Salman Khan starrer Sikandar, has expressed her admiration for the Bollywood superstar's generosity and warmth.
In a candid interview with Bombay Times, she recalled a heartwarming moment while shooting for the film, revealing how Salman went beyond his role to demonstrate his kindness.
In one particular scene, Salman’s character, Sikandar, was required to buy gifts for several children. However, what stood out to Shreya was that Salman didn’t just portray this act onscreen—he went the extra mile in real life. "Let me tell you a fun story. There was a scene where Salman Khan’s character, Sikandar, had to buy things for many kids in the film. And he actually bought them. He took all the kids to the mall and personally purchased everything. That day, I truly realized how generous and kind he is—giving comes naturally to him," Shreya shared.
She went on to explain how Salman’s genuine nature is reflected in the loyalty of his team, many of whom have worked with him for decades. This long-standing dedication speaks volumes about his character. “His stardom is absolutely justified—it’s the result of years of relentless hard work. People assume stars have it easy, but in reality, it takes dedication and consistency to sustain that level of success," she added.
In Sikandar, Shreya plays a medical intern with a pivotal role in the storyline. Despite being in close proximity to Salman, she mentioned that she didn’t have the opportunity to chat with him off-camera. "If I had pushed myself to talk to him, I’m sure he would have been welcoming. But security was tight on set, and we weren’t allowed to bring our phones since the makers were strict about preventing any behind-the-scenes footage from leaking," she explained.
