Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 recently hit the theatres and is already breaking new records. The film's divine energy has spectacularly taken over the silver screen as it continues to break records and enthral viewers worldwide.

The film, which was written and directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Hombale Films, has made an incredible Rs 235+ crores in just three days of its worldwide theatrical run, solidifying its status as a huge blockbuster.

Previously, the film notably recorded the Highest Day 1 sales of 2025 after over 1.28 million tickets were sold in just 24 hours.

Kantara: Chapter 1 delves deeper into the mystical world rooted in folklore and divinity, serving as a prequel to the original cult phenomenon Kantara (2022).  The film's soul-stirring score and stunning cinematic visuals have won praise from both critics and fans.

Kantara: Chapter 1 explores the sacred beginnings of the ethereal land of Kantara and takes place in the fourth century AD.  Its rich mythology, ancient conflicts, and divine interventions are explored in depth in this chapter, which weaves a tale of faith, fire, and folklore that was created from the land's very soil.

With the help of a group of gifted actors, including Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Gulshan Devaiah, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, PD Satish Chandra, and Prakash Thuminad, the movie vividly depicts this epic story.
