Keerthy Suresh has recently expressed her concerns over the rise of Artificial Intelligence after a morphed photo of her went viral on social media.

During a recent interview with Zoom, Keerthy has recently joined the list of celebrities struggling with deepfakes and altered images. The actress opened up about the unsettling experience, calling the situation both worrying and intrusive.

Keerthy said, "AI has become a huge problem. It has turned into a boon and a bane. We, humans invented technology but we are losing control over it. On social media, I was taken aback after seeing my picture in a certain outfit and I wondered if I ever wore it as it looked that real.”

She added, “Recently, the outfit I wore for a movie's pooja was altered in a unfavourable way, from a different angle. For a second, I was wondering, and then I realised that I didn't pose in such a way. It is definitely irritating and it is definitely hurting."

Previously, Sai Pallavi expressed her outrage over a similar incident after her vacation photos from Australia were altered and widely circulated on social media. In addition to actresses, seasoned actors like Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan have filed court petitions to prevent the unapproved use of their voices and images in AI-generated content in order to protect their identities and likenesses.
