Prabhu Deva dance video goes viral

Actor, director and choreographer Prabhu Deva is known for his electrifying dance moves, but has recently come under fire. A video of the choreographer is going viral on social media in which he performed some ‘vulgar’ dance moves, leaving his fans disappointed.

The viral video was from the rehearsals of one of his songs in which he dances with the female actress. However, fans seem to be unhappy with his moves and took to the comment section to call him out.

One person wrote, “Not appreciated. Not expected from Prabhu Sir.” Another fan added, “Lost respect.” A third critic penned, “When the nation.. especially the youth places its trust in you, it's your responsibility to prove—again and again—that you're worthy of that honor.”

Previously, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela came under fire for their alleged ‘vulgar’ dance moves in their 2025 film Daaku Maharaaj's hit song Dabidi Dibidi. The duo received huge backlash for their dance steps in the song of the Telugu-language action.

On the work front, Prabhu Deva was previously seen in Petta Rap, which had a disastrous theatrical run. The film was recently released on Prime Video. Meanwhile, he is gearing up for the upcoming star-studded fantasy drama, Kannappa.

He is scheduled to choreograph the film's dance sequences for Vishnu Manchu's film, which stars Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar and others in the lead role.
