We are already in mid-March, and the OTT platforms are buzzing in anticipation of upcoming releases. Among the much-anticipated releases is Ae Watan Mere Watan, coming to Amazon Prime Video on March 21. Director Kannan Iyer's film - produced by Karan Johar and starring Sara Ali Khan - is set in 1942, and is expected to draw a significant viewership. (This weekend also began with the OTT release of a Sara Ali Khan - Murder Mubarak.)

Two major music-related docuseries are on the calendar, too. A docuseries on the pathbreaking life and career of Taylor Swift, offering fans an intimate look into the singer-songwriter's journey and creative process, dropped on Disney+Hotstar this week. Another docuseries, on J Hope of K-pop group BTS, is set to release on March 28.

So whether you're a fan of Bollywood, international music, or documentaries, there's something to look forward to in the rest of March:

Irish Wish (Netflix, March 15)

Starring Ed Speleers, Lindsay Lohan, Ayesha Curry, and Alexander Vlahos, this one is about a wish that comes true for the protagonist, and she realises that it wasn’t what she wanted after all.

Frida (Amazon Prime Video, March 15)

A deeply personal exploration of the life, thoughts, and emotions of legendary artist Frida Kahlo, Frida draws upon her diary entries, letters, essays, and conversations captured in print. Her compelling narrative is animated with a poetic touch, mirroring the distinctive and memorable style of her art.

Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour (Disney+ Hotstar, March 15)

Calling all Swifties! The 'Eras Tour' concert movie featuring Taylor Swift dropped just a day ago. She broadcast the news via her verified Instagram account last Friday. This concert movie is set to showcase four previously unreleased tracks. She posted, "ALL three and a half hours of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (My Version), including “cardigan” and FOUR new acoustic songs, are now YOURS to stream anytime you want on @disneyplus (sic)."

Ae Watan Mere Watan (Amazon Prime Video, March 21)

This Amazon Original tells the compelling tale of a radio broadcaster who played a pivotal role in India's fight for freedom. Drawing inspiration from the courageous actions of Usha Mehta, the movie honours the countless unknown heroes whose steadfast commitment and selfless contributions were vital in India's struggle for independence. Featuring Sara Ali Khan in the primary role, the film is produced by Karan Johar.

Road House (Amazon Prime Video, March 21)

Helmed by Doug Liman, the action movie is a modern take on the beloved 1989 film of the same name. The star-studded cast includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, Conor McGregor, J.D. Pardo, Arturo Castro, and Billy Magnussen. The story revolves around a former UFC combatant now working as a doorman at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys. But all is not as it seems on the surface in this idyllic spot.

Hope On The Street (Amazon Prime Video, March 28)

BTS member J-Hope is gearing up to unveil this documentary series. It delves into J-Hope's evolution from a street dancer to a music industry sensation and offers audiences an immersive look into his creative growth, intertwining elements of dance with his musical narrative.
