Ektaa Kapoor’s long-running supernatural franchise has found a new way to shed its skin and grab attention. As Naagin 7 rolls out, a viral video from Mumbai has turned an ordinary workday commute into a full-blown pop-culture moment. The clip shows a Mumbai Metro train transformed into what commuters are now calling the “Naaglok Ki Train,” complete with a striking snake-skin inspired wrap and animated visuals promoting the new season.

The video, shared by a netizen on social media, captures stunned passengers watching the metro glide into the station wearing bold Naagin 7 branding. The illusion of a moving, icchadhari-themed train was hard to miss. From the exterior design to the animated graphics playing inside, the campaign blurred the line between daily routine and prime-time television fantasy, catching even regular travellers off guard.

The stunt took place on Mumbai Metro Line 1, also known as the Blue Line. Running between Ghatkopar and Versova, it is one of Mumbai’s busiest routes, connecting the city’s eastern and western suburbs. What this really means is scale. Thousands of commuters, across age groups and backgrounds, were exposed to the promotion within hours, making it a high-impact choice for a show that thrives on mass appeal.

Soon after the Mumbai visuals went viral, a similar clip from the Delhi Metro began doing the rounds online. This time, the buzz was amplified by Ektaa Kapoor herself, who reshared the video on her Instagram story. Social media reactions followed instantly. Some users praised the move as next-level marketing, while others cracked jokes about encountering a “real Naagin” during their morning commute. One comment read, “Go inside the metro and come out as NAGIN,” while another joked about mistaking the train for an anaconda.

The over-the-top outdoor promotions underline just how strong the Naagin brand remains on Indian television. Over multiple seasons, the franchise has delivered high TRPs, dramatic story arcs, and a fiercely loyal fanbase that keeps the show trending both on screen and online.

Naagin 7 premiered on Colours TV on December 27.

Produced by Balaji Telefilms, the new season promises a fresh blend of mystery, revenge, and supernatural drama. It stars Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary as the lead Naagin Ananta, with a special cameo by Tejasswi Prakash, alongside Namik Paul and Eisha Singh.
