    DMRC steps up metro station security till January 29, commuters asked to plan in advance

    In a service advisory, Delhi metro said: “Enhanced security checks will be in place at all Metro stations till 29th January 2026.”

    The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Tuesday announced that additional security screening measures will be implemented across all metro stations until January 29.

    In a service advisory, the operator said: “Enhanced security checks will be in place at all Metro stations till 29th January 2026.”

    DMRC also urged passengers to factor in possible delays and cooperate with staff, advising them to “plan their journey in advance, allow extra travel time and maintain patience and discipline while waiting in queues to ensure a smooth and safe commute.”
