Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade, who is the voice of Allu Arjun's character Pushpa in the blockbuster movie, says there is a lot of pressure unlike the first time he dubbed for the Hindi version.
Shreyas Talpade added his Marathi lingo to the character while dubbing for the Hindi release. And the audience fell in love with the way he said 'Jhukega Nahi Sala'.
In an interview with Moneycontrol.com, when we asked Shreyas if there is pressure while dubbing for the character this time as the movie has become a cult now, he said "there is pressure and the expectations have gone up 10 folds."
"I won’t deny the fact that there is pressure and the expectations have gone up 10 folds. When we did the first part hardly anyone knew about it, there was no pressure, no expectation whatsoever and the film did wonders. But obviously this is part of the game. I think usually the cricketers also say that you just need to go out and enjoy your game out there," Shreyas told Moneycontrol.com.
And he also added that he wants to go with the flow and should not have any 'pre concieved notions.'
"So, I think if I keep anything in my mind that Oh My God this is 'Pushpa 2' and what am I going to do now? I think I should not have these preconceived notions. I should just look at it as the next film and give it my best shot, the way I gave it for Pushpa 1 and enjoy it as much as I did for Pushpa 1. I think that is what will really help me to do my job well. Off course the makers will do a fantastic job of making it, I just have to make sure that I do equal justice to the film and to Mr Arjun's part that he has done in the film," he added.
When asked if his now famous dialogue "Jhukega Nahi Sala" remains intact, he laughed out loud and said it has gone up two folds and "it is Hargiz Jhukega Nahi Sala".
"Yes it does, and they released a song recently and in the end I say 'Hargiz Jhukega nahi sala.' Now it is two hands, and it has gone up two folds. I think the best thing to do is to enjoy the process of dubbing one more time and then let the audience decide if they find it good or bad," said Shreyas.
Shreyas Talpade has dubbed for many different languages in the past, but he has now become the voice of Allu Arjun for his role in and as Pushpa.
'Pushpa 2: The Rule' will release in theatres on August 15. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will also reprise their roles in the sequel.
Talking about Shreyas Talpade, he will be seen in a psychological thriller 'Kartam Bhugtam', which is going to release on May 17.
