Actor Chunky Panday recently shared some fond memories of his early days with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking on the show Timeout With Ankit, Chunky reflected on Shah Rukh's humble beginnings in Mumbai.

According to him, Shah Rukh, along with his wife Gauri, initially lived in a rented flat when they first moved to the City of Dreams. He recounted how Shah Rukh Khan was one of the first friends his younger brother, Chikki Panday, made in Mumbai. "They were always at our place, sitting around watching videos on cassettes," he said, highlighting the simple joys they shared before Shah Rukh’s rise to stardom.

Chunky Panday expressed no surprise at Shah Rukh’s eventual success, describing him as someone destined for greatness. "You could see the fire in him; that talent was always there, even before he became a superstar," Panday explained.

He admires Shah Rukh for maintaining his down-to-earth nature over the years, adding, "He’s always been very sure of himself and where he was headed. I’m proud to have known him from those days."

Chunky’s daughter, actress Ananya Panday, also shared her own experiences with Shah Rukh Khan, highlighting the warmth he extends to those around him. In an interview with No Filter Neha, Ananya, who is close friends with Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan, reminisced about their childhood playdates at Shah Rukh’s home. She praised Shah Rukh’s ability to make everyone feel special, recalling how he once attributed the success of his cricket team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, to their presence as his "lucky charm."

Ananya described Shah Rukh as an inclusive and generous person, noting how he always makes people feel significant and valued. This trait was evident when she and Suhana supported Shah Rukh at a Kolkata Knight Riders cricket match at Eden Gardens.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the film ‘Dunki’ directed by Rajkumar Hirani. His portrayal in the movie was well-received, adding yet another feather to his cap in a career that continues to flourish. Meanwhile, Ananya continues to build her own path in the film industry, drawing from the early influences of iconic figures like Shah Rukh Khan. As these two families continue to intertwine, their shared histories underscore a legacy of friendship and mutual respect in Bollywood.
