Gautam, now based in New York, is pursuing a drama course at NYU. While Mahesh couldn’t be there physically, it’s clear his heart was right there with his son — cheering him on from afar. For those who remember, Gautam has already had a taste of the big screen — he played the younger version of Mahesh’s character in 1: Nenokkadine back in 2014. Now, he’s taking the craft seriously, training in one of the world’s top drama schools.

On the work front, Mahesh Babu is gearing up for his next big-screen appearence, SSMB29, tentatively titled Globetrotter. The film is currently under production in Hyderabad and stars Priyanka Chopra, marking her much-anticipated return to Indian cinema.
