Recent reports claiming a bus carrying junior artists from the set of “Kantara Chapter 1” had overturned, halting production, have been declared false. The production team of the much-anticipated prequel to “Kantara” addressed the rumors, clarifying that there were no injuries or hospitalizations and that filming is continuing as planned.

A minor incident reportedly occurred on the night of Sunday, November 24, involving a local bus carrying a few members of the Kantara team. This took place approximately 20 kilometers from the shooting location. However, the team assured fans and the public in an official statement that the accident was minimal, with no reported injuries. The statement read, “The news making rounds is completely false. The Kantara: Chapter 1 team began shooting at 6 AM today, and everything is proceeding as normal.”

Earlier, certain unverified reports suggested that six junior artists had been hospitalized due to this accident, leading to production delays. However, the production house has firmly denied these claims, calling them baseless. The team emphasized that the safety of their cast and crew remains their utmost priority, and strict measures are in place to ensure smooth operations on set.

The prequel to the 2022 blockbuster “Kantara” has been generating significant buzz since filming began last year. The official clarification provided relief and reaffirmed that production remains on track. “We understand fans’ concerns, but we want to assure everyone that the situation is under control, and no disruptions have occurred on set,” the statement concluded.

“Kantara Chapter 1” also stars Jayaram and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. The film aims to surpass the cinematic excellence of its predecessor, with Rishab Shetty promising an epic narrative filled with drama, folklore, and breathtaking visuals. With filming proceeding as planned, expectations remain sky-high for this prequel.
