Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 5 finale episode trailer is here. The makers have just sent the fans into a frenzy with the release of the first look trailer of the last episode of the hit series.
The official social media handle of Netflix dropped the trailer today with the caption, “one last trailer.”
The trailer begins with teary-eyed Jim Hopper (David Harbour) saying, “I need you to fight one last time,” to Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown.
The trailer then featured clips from the previous episodes with Jim saying in the background, “Life has been so unfair for you, your childhood was taken from you. You’ve been attacked, manipulated… by terrible people but you never let it break you.”
He added, “Fight for the days on the other side of this. Fight for a world beyond Hawkins. Let’s end this kid.”
Stranger Things finale episode will premiere on December 31 in selected theatres and on Netflix.
Recently, the theatrical rollout was increased from 350 theatres to over 600. Co-creator Ross Duffer announced on Instagram, “Over 1.1 million of you have already RSVPed to the finale screenings on NYE and New Year’s Day, and more than 3,500 showtimes across 620+ theatres are already completely full. What a way to close out a ten-year journey—together.”
Following the release of Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2, the Netflix series received backlash and negative reviews, sparking controversy surrounding the way a scene in which Will (Noah Schnapp) came out to his friends was handled. The Duffer Brothers have not addressed the issue.

With over 140 million views worldwide in its fourth season alone, Stranger Things has been a pop culture phenomenon and a ratings success for Netflix.
Directed by Ross and Matt Duffer, Stranger Things Season 5 final episode will air on Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT.
