Stranger Things fans can still take a trip to the Upside Down world despite the dramatic finale. The Duffer Brothers have announced the animated spinoff series, Stranger Things Tales From ’85, and Netflix has recently dropped its first poster and teaser release date.

The official social media handle of Netflix released the official poster while revealing that Stranger Things Tales From ’85 will be released on February 2, 2026.

Brooklyn Davey Norstedt plays Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport plays Max, Luca Diaz plays Mike, Elisha ‘EJ’ Williams plays Lucas, Braxton Quinney plays Dustin, Ben Plessala plays Will, and Brett Gipson plays Hopper. Lou Diamond Phillips, Janeane Garofalo, and Odessa A'zion will also provide voices.

Ross Duffer previously talked about the upcoming spinoff and said, “With animation, there’s really no limits. Eric and his team can just go wild … and they have.”

Ross further shared how they got the idea of creating a spin-off and recalled, “When we started talking about was there anything else we wanted to do with Stranger Things, this was one of our first ideas.”

However, the director had previously teased about what fans can expected from the animated Stranger Things series. The Duffer Brothers said, “We couldn’t be more blown away by what Eric Robles and his team have come up with, the scripts and artwork are incredible, and we can’t wait to share more with you! The adventure continues.”
