
After Stranger Things, Netflix's eagerly anticipated manga-based series One Piece will finally be released in theatres.
According to Variety, the first two episodes of One Piece: Into The Grand Line will debut in theatres on March 10, coinciding with the show's second season premiere on the streamer.
Over 200 locations across the US, Canada, and Japan will host the special screening.
The Netflix website created specifically for the event now has a full list of theatres and showtimes. In the United States, AMC Regal, Cinemark, Cineplax, and Alamo are among the participating theatres.
The official plot synopsis states that One Piece Season 2 of 'One Piece' focus on "Luffy (Inaki Godoy), Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Sanji (Taz Skylar) travel to the Grand Line, a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. There, they'll visit bizarre islands, recruit more allies, and battle formidable new foes as they search for the world's greatest treasure.”
In addition to Anton David Jeftha, Brendan Sean Murray, Callum Kerr, Camrus Johnson, Clive Russell, Daniel Lasker, David Dastmalchian, James Hiroyuki Liao, Jazzara Jaslyn, and Joe Manganiello, Charithra Chandran appears in the second season of the live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's popular manga series.
Stranger Things was delivered to theatres by Netflix, and One Piece is now the second streaming series to be given a threat screening.
