Who isn't excited for the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi reboot? Ekta Kapoor's iconic family drama is making a grand return to TV screens, much to the delight of its loyal fans. Legendary actors like Smriti Irani, Amar Upadhyay, and others are set to reprise their memorable roles. Once again, viewers will dive back into the world of the Virani family, following the trials and triumphs of Tulsi Virani and Mihir Virani. Amidst the buzz, one of the biggest confirmations has come from Hiten Tejwani, who revealed that he, along with his wife Gauri Pradhan, will be part of the much-anticipated Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.

Speaking to the entertainment portal Zoom, Hiten Tejwani put all rumors to rest by confirming his comeback as Karan Virani, the son of Mihir and Mandira Virani. “Yes, the reports are true. I will be returning as Karan,” Hiten said enthusiastically. Fans will also be happy to know that his real-life wife, Gauri Pradhan, will be portraying Nandini, adding an extra layer of excitement to their on-screen pairing.
Though Hiten is currently juggling multiple projects, he revealed his excitement about returning to this beloved universe. “These are the old days again where I am working on 3-3 shows together,” he shared. “But I am very excited to meet everyone again on set.” When asked about his interactions with the show’s original stars, he mentioned, “I haven’t spoken to Ekta Kapoor or Smriti Irani yet, but I am looking forward to catching up with everyone.”

Adding more fuel to the excitement, Hiten hinted at the premiere date for the reboot. “Socha nahi tha ke aisa mauka milega. Log chahte the ke aaye wapis, unki dua hain aur Ekta ma'am ka vision hai. Ab mujhe wo jeene me bhi maza aayega. Suna hai ki 3rd July se start ho raha hai, aage ki kahaan Ekta ma'am ki zubaani. Bohot excited hoon main. Logon se yahi baat kar raha hoon" (I hadn’t imagined I’d get such an opportunity again. People wanted me back, their blessings and Ekta ma’am’s vision made it happen. Now, I’ll really enjoy every moment of it,” he said. “I heard the show will start from July 3rd, but for the rest, it’s all Ekta ma’am’s words. I am super excited. This is what I’ve been telling everyone!”)
