Sonu Sood promotes OTT release of his film Fateh

Sonu Sood starrer Fateh, which delves into the dark side of cybercrime, has recently made its OTT debut. The actor also served as the director of the film. Although the film wasn’t a commercial success, it has created enough buzz among the audience.

However, just less than two months after its theatrical run, the film is now available to stream on the platform. The action-packed thriller is now streaming on JioHotstar.

Sonu Sood took to his social media to promote the OTT release of the film. The actor shared the intense trailer of the action thriller on his Instagram. Alongside the video, he wrote, “Fateh is here to paint the town RED.” The actor added, “#Fateh is Now Streaming only on @jiohotstar.”

Fateh didn't do well at the Indian box office, and kicked off with Rs 2.4 crore and made Rs 11.1 crore in the first week of release. The action-thriller made a total collection of Rs 26.86 crore. Alongside Sonu Sood, the film also features Naseeruddin Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Vijay Raaz in the pivotal role. The film is co-produced by Ajay Dhama and produced by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios.

The film is about Fateh Singh, a former special ops officer who is pulled back into action when a young village girl is targeted by a cybercrime group. He joins forces with a hacker, Khushi, to rescue the girl and take down the cyber mafia, exposing the dark side of the digital world.

Meanwhile, Sonu Sood will be next seen in the upcoming Malayalam action movie, Rambaan. He will star alongside Mohanlal. The film is set in a fictional world and is about a father and daughter.
