Mere ko nahi karna tha drama, I just wanted to give one message and mai ne vo de diya.

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal recently spoke about his divorce with ex-wife Dhanashree Verma and addressed being called ‘unfaithful’ and the reason for wearing the ‘sugar daddy’ t shirt.

Now, Dhanashree has spoken for the first time after Yuzi's podcast, she took to her social media handle and posted a picture from her Dubai trip.

Her photo dump featured everything from enjoying local street treats like vada pav and pani puri to sunset walks and visits to temples, capturing a sense of calm and nostalgia.

In the caption she wrote, “Back in Dubai after what feels like a lifetime…Growing up here gave me so many core memories and seeing how much the city has evolved was both surreal and heartwarming. One of the highlights was visiting this beautiful Hindu temple, peaceful, powerful, and a reminder of how far this city has come in embracing culture and community .. Grateful for the growth, the roots, and the reconnection.”

Her post follows Chahal's recent appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast, where he discussed the viral T-shirt he wore saying "Be Your Own Sugar Daddy" which happened to be on the same day as his final divorce hearing with Dhanashree.

Talking about the bold statement on his shirt, the cricketer said, “Mere ko nahi karna tha drama, I just wanted to give one message and mai ne vo de diya.”

Chahal clarified that he had no intention of sparking controversy but suggested that he was forced to respond due to something initiated by Dhanashree.

"Kyunki saamne se kuch cheej hua tha, aur mera pehle mann nahi tha. Fir saamne se kuch hua toh fir mai ne kaaha ab sambhaal lo ab mujhe nahi parwah kisi ki. Mai ne na kisi ko abuse kara, bus mujhe message dena tha," he said, implying that his response was more about closure than confrontation.

Dhanashree hasn’t directly replied to Chahal’s comments, but her latest post has focused on personal growth and reconnecting with herself and has been interpreted by fans as a calm way of moving on.

The photos capture her smiling, enjoying sunsets, and revisiting her hometown, subtly yet powerfully conveying her resilience.
