Actress Deepika Padukone shared a rare glimpse of this year's Christmas as a new mother with daughter Dua Padukone Singh. Deepika and her husband, Ranveer Singh, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in September this year.
Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram on Wednesday night to share a picture of their decorated Christmas tree with three special baubles hanging on the tree.
The ornaments had the names of Deepika, Ranveer, and their daughter, Dua. Deepika tagged Ranveer; she added the hashtag 'gratitude.' She wrote in the caption,My heart is full with evil eye and red heart emojis.
Earlier this week, Deepika and Ranveer had also invited the paparazzi to formally introduce their daughter, Dua.
The photographers had been requesting the couple to introduce them to Dua, and the couple finally hosted all of them at their residence in Mumbai.
The couple didn't release any pictures of their daughter that day and is going to reveal her to the world themselves at the right time.
Deepika and Ranveer requested the photographers to not take any pictures of Dua as she is still very young.
On Diwali, Deepika and Ranveer had revealed their daughter's name, "Dua Padukone Singh," along with a message:Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude." The Diwali announcement was a moment of immense joy for their fans, who had eagerly awaited news of the couple's little bundle of joy.
Deepika and Ranveer, who got married in 2018, welcomed the birth of their daughter Dua on September 8.
On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika were seen in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Singham Again. She has taken a brief break after the birth of Dua.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Aditya Dhar's action film and Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.
