According to PTI,  Dr Jalil Parker, who is treating the veteran scriptwriter, said that Salim Khan was brought into the emergency by their family doctor Dr Sandeep Chopra.

The doctor said, “Emergency care was initiated in the emergency and Mr Salim Khan was shifted to the intensive care on the 1st floor.”

Dr Jalil Parkar added, “A team of doctors consisting of Dr Vinay Chavan (neurologist), Dr Ajit Menon (cardiologist) and Dr Nitin Dange (neurosurgeon), and Dr Bineet Ahluwalia attended to him.”

He added that although more information regarding his health is not being released today, Salim Khan's family has given their permission for them to address a press bulletin tomorrow at 11 a.m.

“However, tomorrow at 11 am we shall be addressing a press bulletin with due consent of the relatives and maintaining the confidentiality of the patient to the utmost. He is stable but is under close observation in regards to his clinical status,” he said.

Salim Khan's children, including superstar Salman Khan, daughter Alvira, and sons-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma, were spotted visiting the hospital as worries about his health grew. His grandsons, Nirvaan and Arhaan, were also seen visiting him.

In the meantime, fans have expressed their worries and wished him a quick recovery on social media. Salim Khan celebrated his 90th birthday back in November 2025. Helen, his second wife, wrote a heartfelt message for the seasoned writer on Instagram. Additionally, she had sent Salim and Salma Khan photos of herself.
