The excitement surrounding the ambitious epic Ramayana has reached a new high after audiences across India witnessed the film’s 3D promo playing in theatres during screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. What followed was nothing short of extraordinary — cinema halls transformed into roaring arenas as viewers erupted with chants of “Jai Shree Ram”, accompanied by thunderous applause and standing ovations.

Set over 5,000 years ago and revered by more than 2.5 billion people worldwide, Ramayana is not merely a story but a cultural legacy deeply embedded in faith and tradition. The overwhelming response to the promo underscored the emotional and spiritual connect audiences already feel with the film, even before its teaser or trailer release.

Acknowledging the electrifying reaction, producer Namit Malhotra took to social media to express his gratitude and excitement. Sharing a story on Instagram, he wrote, “Electrifying! This kind of energy truly fuels everything that lies ahead for us. Here’s to bringing an epic to life.” His words resonated strongly with fans, many of whom echoed similar sentiments online.

Several reels capturing the audience response have since gone viral on social media. One such reel, showing fans chanting slogans and giving a standing ovation as the 3D promo played, has already crossed 3.6 million views and garnered over 128,000 likes. Numerous fan videos flooded Instagram, with viewers describing the experience as “goosebumps-inducing” and “unreal,” while others expressed heightened curiosity to see more glimpses of the film.
