Director Tushar Hiranandani penned an emotional note to celebrate Rajkummar Rao's Critics' Best Actor win for their inspiring film, 'Srikanth'.

At the 69th Filmfare Awards, actor Rajkummar Rao won Best Actor (Critics), making filmmaker Tushar Hiranandani thrilled. The filmmaker shared his happiness on Instagram, showing his joy in the fact that all of the leading actors he has worked with so far have won Filmfare awards.

The filmmaker shared a heartfelt note on Rajkummar Rao’s Filmfare win, where he wrote, “Not bad at all, done two feature n one show and feel so proud that all the four lead actors I worked with have won the Filmfare Award Best Actors — from @taapsee and @bhumipednekar in Saand Ki Aankh, @gagandevriar in Scam 2003 and now @rajkummar_rao in Srikanth. Thank u the one and only @nidhiparmarhira for always believing in me and supporting me… love u Raj bhai, Gagan bhai and my two sisters for life, Taapsee and Bhumi…”

The filmmaker’s emotional post shows both pride and gratitude for the exciting journey he has shared with his actors and his producer-wife, Parmar Hiranandani, who has been her constant support and collaborator during the film.

Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan were among the night's winners, winning Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) for their roles in Chandu Champion and I Want To Talk, respectively.
Nitanshi Goel was named Best Debut Actor (Female) for her performance in Laapataa Ladies. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt won Best Actress for her role in Jigra.

Kunal Kemmu and Aditya Suhas Jambhale received the Best Debut Director awards for their respective films Madgaon Express and Article 370.However, Lakshya won the Best Debut Actor (Male) award for his performance in Bads of Bollywood.

With movies like Saand Ki Aankh, Scam 2003, and Srikanth, filmmaker Tushar Hiranandani has marked his place as a filmmaker who is known for making powerful performances and delivering emotionally charged stories. Tushar’s streak of leading his actors to award-winning acclaim continues to shine bright.
