Despite being one of Bollywood’s most celebrated stars, Deepika Padukone recently shared with her fans that life at home often revolves around  a baby with impeccable timing.

The actor shared a light-hearted moment from her parenting life through her Instagram Stories. Deepika Padukone reposted a humorous reel that perfectly captured a common parenting experience.

The reel read, “My baby making random loud noises just because my husband and I are having a conversation.” Adding to the fun, Deepika Padukone tagged her husband, Ranveer Singh, turning the moment into a playful nudge between the two parents.

The post quickly resonated with fans, many of whom found the situation relatable. It was yet another glimpse into Deepika Padukone’s new life as a mother — a role she has openly embraced and occasionally shared with her followers on social media.

Since welcoming her daughter, Dua, with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone has been offering candid and heartfelt insights into motherhood. Rather than presenting a picture-perfect version of parenting, the actor has often shared the emotional highs and lows that come with raising a child.

In another recent Instagram Story, Deepika Padukone reposted a video that reflected the complicated feelings many mothers experience.

The note on the video read, "There… I said it! My toxic trait is loving my child so much that I dont want anyone else watching them… but I desperately need a break… but I can’t stand being without them… but I also crave 24 hours of silence… but I still want to be with them 24/7."

Deepika Padukone has also subtly reflected her new phase of life on her social media profile. Her Instagram display picture currently features the words “In My Mom Era” set against a calm, earthy-toned background, symbolising how deeply she has embraced motherhood.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their daughter in September 2024. After weeks of excitement and curiosity among fans, the couple finally revealed their baby girl’s name — Dua — in November the same year.

Deepika Padukone will next be seen in King, where she stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The much-awaited film is currently scheduled to release in cinemas on December 24, 2026.
