Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, known for his sculpted physique and dedicated fitness regime, recently surprised fans by revealing an unexpected post-workout meal on social media — one that doesn’t involve protein shakes or supplements. Instead, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share a colorful and wholesome Indian plate he fondly refers to as his personal “Indian mishmash.”
In the snapshot he posted, Hrithik’s meal comprises jowar (sorghum) rotis paired with a medley of vegetables including bhindi (okra), beetroot, baingan (eggplant), papdi (broad beans) and lauki (bottle gourd), along with egg whites and daal — a combination that may seem unconventional by gym standards but is packed with nutrients nonetheless. He captioned the post: “The most unlikely post workout meal?” before listing the ingredients and cheekily calling it one of his favourite “quirks.”
What makes the post particularly engaging is Hrithik’s invitation to his fans to share their own quirky food cravings — a playful way to interact with his online community. Under the hashtag #indianmishmash, he wrote, “What’s the most quirky food craving you guys have? Mine is the Indian mishmash. Uff… is there anything better.”
Meanwhile, Hrithik is poised to take a major leap into directing with Krrish 4, the next chapter of India’s beloved superhero franchise — a role he’s said to embrace as both actor and director, with pre-production already underway for a planned 2027 release. The film is rumored to reunite him with Priyanka Chopra and expand the Krrish universe even further.
