Hrithik Roshan is once again winning hearts for his genuine support of good cinema. The actor recently shared his reaction to Sunny Deol’s war drama Border 2, and his warm words have added to the film’s growing buzz.

Taking to his Instagram story, Hrithik Roshan kept things simple and heartfelt, calling the film a deeply emotional experience.

He wrote, “Loved Border 2, All heart. Congrats to the entire team...”. The post quickly caught attention, with fans appreciating how openly he celebrates the work of fellow actors and filmmakers.

This isn’t the first time Hrithik Roshan has spoken candidly about films that moved him. Earlier, he had shared a thoughtful and layered response to Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, the espionage thriller starring Ranveer Singh. In a long post, he reflected on the power of storytelling and what it means to fully surrender to a film.

He wrote, “I love cinema, i love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want is purged out of them onto the screen. Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It's cinema. I may disagree with the politics of it and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can't ignore how i loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing.”

While his honest take on the film’s politics sparked debate on social media, Hrithik Roshan later followed it up with another post, focusing purely on the craft and performances. Clearly still thinking about the film, he wrote, “Still can't get DHURANDHAR out of my mind. @adityadharfilms you are an incredible maker man. @ranveersingh the silent to the fierce what a journey and so damn consistent. #akshaykhanna has always been my fav and this film is proof why. @actormaddy bloody mad grace, strength and dignity .”

Meanwhile, Border 2, which released in theatres on 23 January 2026, features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa and Anya Singh in pivotal roles.
