ATEEZ makes history with third Top 10 Debut on UK’s Official Albums Chart within a year

Adding to their list of achievements, ATEEZ became the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella, one of the world’s most prestigious music festivals.

On June 7, ATEEZ achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first K-pop group to debut three albums in the top 10 of the UK’s Official Albums Chart within a single year. Their latest mini album, 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1', debuted at No 4, adding to their impressive record. This feat follows their previous successes with 'THE WORLD EP.2: OUTLAW', which entered the chart at No 10, and 'THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL', which soared to No 2.

ATEEZ’s latest release, 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1', has not only secured a spot in the top 10 but also claimed the No 1 position on the Official Physical Albums Chart, making it their second consecutive album to achieve this distinction. The Official Charts, often regarded as the UK’s equivalent to Billboard’s US charts, highlighted this accomplishment as a significant milestone for the group and the K-pop industry.

ATEEZ, formed by KQ Entertainment, comprises eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. Known as Global Performance Idols and 4th Generation Leaders, the group has sold over four million albums worldwide.

The group kicked off 2024 with their 'Towards the Light: Will to Power' world tour, featuring sold-out concerts in Seoul and Japan. In February, ATEEZ was honoured as Record Store Day's first K-pop Artist of the Year, reflecting their growing influence and popularity.

On May 31, ATEEZ released their tenth EP, 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1', featuring the lead single 'Work'. The EP’s debut at No 4 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart underscores the group’s consistent ability to connect with fans globally and produce music that resonates across diverse audiences.
