A R Rahman and Shiamak Davar to reunite soon

Music maestro AR Rahman and dance icon Shiamak Davar are all set to share the stage once again for the grand launch of The Wonderment Tour. The global premiere of this much-anticipated concert will take place on May 3, 2025, at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, as part of the WAVES Summit scheduled from May 1 to 4.

The event marks a long-awaited reunion between the Oscar-winning composer and the pioneering choreographer, who collaborated on iconic projects like Taal and Kisna. Fans can expect a powerful blend of live musical performance and expansive choreography, expected to be a spectacle.

Conceptualised by Rahman in association with Percept Live, and co-produced by Percept Live, Fair Game, and Jo Entertainment, The Wonderment Tour is touted to be a landmark moment in live entertainment.

Reflecting on their creative reunion, Rahman shared, “Our journey together on Taal and Kisna was an unforgettable one, and I have no doubt that in The Wonderment Tour he will create something truly magical. The Wonderment Tour is in every sense a celebration of music, dance, and the magic that happens when two art forms come together to create something extraordinary and who better than Shiamak for this.”

The Mumbai performance is just the beginning of a global series, with Rahman expected to perform some of his most beloved compositions. These will be enhanced by specially crafted dance pieces directed by Davar, aiming to elevate the concert.
