Alia Bhatt continues to mesmerize her fans with her incredible acting prowess, and her forthcoming film Jigra is set to be another testament to her talent. The excitement around Jigra, co-starring Vedang Raina, has been building ever since the teaser trailer dropped, giving audiences a sneak peek into its gripping storyline.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra’s trailer released today, and it shows Alia in a fierce, protective role as she goes to extreme lengths to protect her brother.

This project marks Alia's second venture as a producer, following her 2022 hit Darlings. Produced in collaboration with Dharma Productions and Karan Johar, Jigra is generating significant buzz, with fans eagerly anticipating both the full trailer and the film's release. Jigra is an action-packed, prison-break thriller directed by Vasan Bala and co-written by Debashish Irengbam and Bala. Alia Bhatt stars as Satya, a determined sister who embarks on a dangerous journey to save her brother, Ankur, portrayed by Vedang Raina. The film also features Manoj Pahwa in a pivotal role.
The soundtrack for Jigra has already created waves, especially with the hit track ‘Chal Kudiye,’ which reunites Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. Composed by Manpreet Singh with lyrics by Harmanjeet Singh, the song is a standout on the soundtrack. Additionally, a recreated version of Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka features in the teaser, with Vedang Raina lending his voice to the beloved classic.
