The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) has implemented new changes to the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2025, including a revised OMR rule and the introduction of negative marking.
Key ChangesOMR Options: The number of answer options for each question has been increased from four to five.
Negative Marking: Incorrect answers or unanswered questions will now attract a penalty. A deduction of ⅓ (0.33) of the total marks allotted to a question will be applied for each wrong answer.
REET RegistrationThe registration window for REET 2025 is currently open and will close on January 15. The examination is scheduled for February 27.
Application FeesAs of December 18th, the board had received 29,308 applications, with 1,035 candidates applying for both levels.
RBSE Secretary Kailash Chandra Sharma has assured that adequate security measures will be implemented to ensure the integrity of the examination process.
RBSE is prioritising the fair and secure conduct of the REET exam by implementing robust security measures. Strict security arrangements will be enforced at all examination centers. To further enhance security, sensitive and highly sensitive centers will be under constant surveillance through CCTV cameras, videography, and the deployment of special flying squads.
