The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released the admit cards for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2025 examination for students in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The NMMS scholarship is a Central Sector Scheme aimed at providing financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections. The scholarship is awarded to students in Class IX and continues till Class XII.

Eligibility Criteria

• Parental income should not exceed Rs. 3,50,000 per annum.
• Minimum 55% marks in Class VII (relaxable for SC/ST students).
• Regular student in a government, government-aided, or local body school.

Students are selected based on their performance in a Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

Scholarship Amount

• The scholarship amount is Rs. 12,000 per annum.
