Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 Begins Today Across 967 Centres

The Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 for 2025 begins today, May 26, across the state. A total of 967 exam centres have been set up to conduct the exams. As many as 3.16 lakh students who did not pass the SSLC Exam 1 have registered for this session and will be appearing from today. The first paper, which is the First Language exam, will be conducted today.

According to the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB), the exams will continue from May 26 to June 2, 2025. The exam timing is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM.

In the first round of SSLC exams, 8,42,174 students had appeared, out of which 5,24,984 passed, while 3,17,189 were unsuccessful. Most of these unsuccessful students have now enrolled for SSLC Exam 2 and will write the papers starting today.

Important Guidelines for Students Appearing in SSLC Exam 2

  • CCTV surveillance is mandatory at all examination centres and must function throughout the exam duration. Monitoring will be done from the respective District Panchayat CEO offices.
  • Use of mobile phones, pagers, Xerox machines, STD booths, and typing centres is strictly prohibited within 200 metres of exam centres.
  • Students can travel free of cost on KSRTC and BMTC buses from their residence to the exam centre.
  • Only basic calculators are allowed. Scientific calculators are permitted only for Statistics paper.
  • Students exiting before the final bell must submit both the answer sheet and question paper to the invigilator.
  • Carrying hall tickets and ID cards is compulsory.
  • Use of mobile phones and electronic devices inside exam halls is prohibited.
  • Students will not be given the question paper if they leave before the scheduled exam start time.

  • May 26, 2025: First Language – Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, English, English NCERT, Sanskrit
  • May 27, 2025: Core Subjects – Mathematics, Social Science
  • May 28, 2025: Second Language – English, Kannada
  • May 29, 2025: Core Subject – Science
  • May 30, 2025: Third Language – Hindi NCERT, Hindi, Kannada, English, Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Konkani, Tulu | NSQF Subjects – IT, Retail, Automobile, Beauty & Wellness, Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing, Electronics & Hardware
  • May 31, 2025: Core Subjects – Civics, Hindustani Music, Karnataka Music
  • June 2, 2025: JTS Subjects – Elements of Electrical Engineering-IV, Elements of Mechanical Engineering-IV, Elements of Electronics Engineering-IV, Programming in ANSI C, Economics
