The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has declared the Class 12 revaluation and rechecking results for the 2025 examinations. Students who had applied for the scrutiny process can now check their updated scores on the board's official website.

This announcement brings closure to the post-result process for the senior secondary exams. The board has also issued critical instructions for students whose marks have been revised, mandating the return of original documents to receive updated mark sheets.

Candidates who applied for the re-evaluation or re-checking of their HP Board Class 12 papers can access their results by following these simple steps:

Step 1. Navigate to the official HPBOSE website: hpbose.org.

Step 2. On the homepage, locate and click on the link that reads "HPBOSE Class 12 Revaluation/Rechecking Result 2025."

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new login page.

Step 4. Enter your required credentials, such as your Roll Number and other details as prompted.

Step 5. After submitting the details, your revaluation result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6. Download the result and take a printout for your future reference and records.

The board's official notice underscores a vital procedure for students whose marks have changed after the revaluation process:

• Return of Old Documents: Students must surrender their original, previously collected mark sheets to their respective Class 12 examination branches.
• Issuance of Fresh Certificates: Only upon the submission of the original documents will the HPBOSE authorities issue a fresh, revised mark sheet and certificate.
• 15-Day Deadline: The board has set a strict window of 15 days from the date of the result declaration for students to return their old certificates and collect the new ones.
• Avoid Delays: Students are strongly advised to complete this process within the allotted timeframe to prevent any unnecessary delays in receiving their updated academic credentials.

The HPBOSE initially declared the Class 12 results on May 17, 2025. However, a swift revision was necessitated and announced on May 21, 2025, due to an identified error in the marks compilation for the English paper.

The final, revised result recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.64%. Out of the 86,373 students who appeared for the examinations, 76,315 were declared successful. The data also revealed that 3,838 students were placed in the compartment category, while 5,868 students failed to clear the exams.
