GATE 2025 Timetable: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the examination schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2025. The computer-based test will be conducted across two weekends in February, offering students flexibility in choosing their exam dates.
According to the official website, GATE 2025 will be held on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th. The exam will be conducted in two daily sessions – a forenoon session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and an afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
IIT Roorkee, which is organising GATE 2025 on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, has confirmed that the exam will encompass a total of 30 test papers across various engineering disciplines. Candidates are permitted to appear for a maximum of two test papers.

GATE 2025 will maintain the established format of using multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. Remember, for MCQs, only one option is correct, while MSQs allow you to choose one or more options that are correct. For NAT questions, you'll need to use the virtual keypad to enter the numerical answer.
