The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted the Class 10 Science Board Exam 2025 on February 20. The examination was held in a single shift, starting at 10:30 AM and concluding at 1:30 PM, across various centres in India and abroad. Students who appeared for the exam can now access the question paper in PDF format for review and analysis.

As per the experts, the CBSE Class 10 Science question paper was designed to evaluate students' understanding of key scientific concepts, practical applications, and problem-solving skills. The exam pattern followed the latest CBSE guidelines, ensuring a balanced distribution of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The question paper was well-structured, with a balanced mix of easy, moderate, and challenging questions. This ensured that students of all proficiency levels could attempt the exam confidently.

"The Class 10 CBSE science paper was well-structured and balanced, with all questions strictly adhering to the prescribed syllabus. Students who were thoroughly prepared with the textbook content were well-equipped to tackle the paper. A good balance of diagrams and numericals was maintained. The time allocated for completion was sufficient, allowing students to thoughtfully answer the questions. The paper presented majority of direct questions. The conceptual questions require students to demonstrate a fairly deep understanding of the subject matter. Overall, the paper was student-friendly. The competency-based questions in physics insisted on a thorough knowledge of concept as often the students would overlook a few nuances. The numerical involved direct application of concepts learned," said Parvathy V, Academic Coordinator at JAIN International Residential School (JIRS), Bengaluru.

A significant portion of the paper was dedicated to application-based questions, encouraging students to think critically and apply their knowledge to solve problems.
