Assam CEE Registration 2025: The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) will begin the online registration process for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025 today, February 5. Aspiring candidates can apply for the exam through the official university website, astu.ac.in, until February 27.
The Assam CEE 2025 is scheduled to be held on April 27, 2025, in a single shift from 11 AM to 2 PM. The university has noted that this schedule is subject to change based on directives from the Government of Assam and/or the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The exam will cover the syllabus of the Assam State School Education Board, Division II (Higher Secondary Division).
Admit cards for the exam will be available for download from April 12 to April 23. Candidates will need their registration number and date of birth to access and download their admit cards from the university website.
The CEE will consist of 120 objective-type multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each correct answer will earn four marks, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Selecting multiple answers for a single question will be considered incorrect. The exam serves as the gateway for admission to the first-year B.Tech programs offered by ASTU.
Eligibility CriteriaTo be eligible for the Assam CEE 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Step 1. Go to the official website of Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) at astu.ac.in.
Step 2. Look for the "Assam CEE 2025" or similar link on the homepage. It might be under a "Admissions" or "Examinations" section.
Step 3. Click on the link that directs you to the online application portal.
Step 4. If you are a new user, you will likely need to register yourself by providing basic details like your name, email address, phone number, etc.
Step 5. Use your registration ID and password to log in to the application portal.
Step 6. Carefully fill out the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and contact details.
Step 7. Upload scanned copies of your required documents, such as your photograph, signature, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, and category certificate (if applicable), as per the specified format and size.
Step 8. Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,350 online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. Keep the transaction details for future reference.
Step 9. Before submitting the application, carefully review all the information you have entered and the documents you have uploaded. Make corrections if necessary. Once you are satisfied, click on the "Submit" button.
Step 10. After successful submission, download and print a copy of the application form and payment receipt for your records.
