Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles today announced the Tata Punch facelift launch in India, with prices starting at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tata Punch facelift brings updates to both exterior and interior design, along with the addition of a turbo-petrol engine option. Bookings for the Tata Punch facelift are now open nationwide.
First introduced in India in 2021, the Punch has grown into one of the brand's highest-volume models. The micro-SUV has helped Tata strengthen its footprint in the small SUV space, with cumulative sales nearing 7 lakh units so far.
The Tata Punch facelift price begins at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol version. The CNG variant of the Tata Punch 2026 is priced from Rs 6.69 lakh, while the entry-level turbo-petrol version comes in at Rs 8.29 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The 2026 Tata Punch facelift is offered in six variants -- Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished and Accomplished+ S. Feature distribution has been clearly tiered across the range, with each variant catering to a different buyer profile.
Smart
The Smart variant serves as the entry-level option on the Tata Punch facelift. It comes with six airbags as standard, along with LED headlamps, ESP, Eco and City drive modes, remote keyless entry and iTPMS. The focus here is on safety and everyday usability.
Pure
The Pure variant adds comfort-focussed equipment to the Tata Punch facelift features list. Rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls and a central armrest are standard. It also gets a rear defogger and a day-night IRVM.
Pure+
With the Pure+ variant, the Tata Punch facelift starts offering more in terms of technology. It features an 8-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an HD reverse camera, cruise control, a USB Type-C fast charger and a height-adjustable driver seat.
Adventure
The Adventure variant adds convenience and driver-assistance features to the Tata Punch facelift. It includes a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, push-button start, automatic climate control, rear wiper and washer, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. This variant rides on 15-inch styled wheels.
Accomplished
With the Accomplished trim, the new Tata Punch facelift moves into a more premium space. It gets LED DRLs, LED tail lamps and 16-inch alloy wheels. The infotainment screen grows to 10.25 inches, while the seats offer extended thigh support and the climate control system switches to a touch-based interface.
Accomplished+ S
The Accomplished+ S sits at the top of the Tata Punch facelift 2026 range. It adds LED fog lamps with cornering function, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming IRVM and iRA connected car technology.
The Tata Punch facelift continues with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated Revotron petrol engine, producing 88PS and 115Nm. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT. The CNG version of the Tata Punch 2026 also carries over, making 73PS and 103Nm, with both manual and AMT options. The AMT-equipped CNG variant additionally gets paddle shifters, a segment-first feature.
The Tata Punch facelift 2026 also introduces a turbo-petrol engine (iTurbo). This 1.2-litre turbocharged unit produces 120PS and 170Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
In terms of safety, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift has secured a 5-star rating at Bharat NCAP for both adult and child occupant protection. Tata has also carried out internal crash tests on the Punch facelift to assess its structural integrity.
