  • Both models feature cosmetic updates and refreshed styling only.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched two new special-edition models for the Indian market, the Dio 125 X-Edition and the Shine 125 Limited Edition. The Dio 125 X-Edition has been priced at Rs 87,733, while the Shine 125 Limited Edition is priced at Rs 86,211. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The two launches expand Honda's 125cc portfolio with updated design-focussed editions, which are aimed at customers seeking refreshed styling. Bookings for both models have opened across Honda's dealership network as well as on the company's official website. Availability at authorised Honda dealerships is scheduled to begin from the second week of February.

The Dio 125 X-Edition features a revised visual identity compared to the standard Dio 125. The scooter gets exclusive X-Edition graphics on the body panels along with a dual-tone colour scheme. It is offered in Pearl Deep Ground Grey with Pearl Siren Blue. The model also comes equipped with coloured alloy wheels finished in Matte Frash colour and updated side decals highlighting the X-Edition branding.

Honda said the Dio 125 X-Edition has been developed with a focus on younger riders and urban commuters. The changes are limited to cosmetic updates, while the mechanical package remains unchanged from the standard model.

The Shine 125 Limited Edition, meanwhile, introduces subtle design updates to one of Honda's highest-selling 125cc motorcycles. The limited-edition version is offered in Pearl Siren Blue and features new premium graphics while retaining the Shine's familiar overall design and proportions. Alloy wheels finished in pyrite brown are part of the visual update.

According to the company, the Shine 125 Limited Edition follows a minimalist design approach, focussing on clean surfaces and a restrained visual theme. The limited-edition version continues to be positioned as a practical and easy-to-own commuter motorcycle in the 125cc segment.

Honda said the two special editions are intended to offer refreshed styling without altering the core characteristics of the Dio 125 and the Shine 125. With these launches, the company continues to expand its offerings in the mass-market scooter and motorcycle segments.
