Gadchiroli Jul 6 (PTI) A two-month pregnant woman, Renu Mallayya Allewar, refused to call off her indefinite hunger strike, despite suffering a miscarriage here today at the pandal where she was on fast. She has also refused to get admitted to a hospital and has continued her hunger strike. Twelve other female health workers of the zilla parishad administration who are also fasting with her, despite being admitted to hospital after their condition deteriorated, refused to stop their stir until their demands were met. They have been on an indefinite hunger strike since June 27 demanding that they be absorbed by the zilla parishad as its regular employees. The zilla parishad administration had asked them to withdraw their hunger strike, as their demand was not legal.
