Mumbai, Oct 31 (PTI) The country's largest airline Jet Airways today said it has begun daily flights on the Thiruvananthapuram-Sharjah sector from yesterday. "The introduction of this new service will further strengthen our growing Gulf network and is sure to prove extremely popular with our guests, especially business travelers from the South," Jet Airways CEO Nikos Kardassis said in a statement. This additional flight from Thiruvananthapuram is expected to complement the airline's existing daily Gulf operations to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat and Sharjah, as well as Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad. The flight will depart Thiruvananthapuram at 10.15 am and will arrive in Sharjah at 12.40 pm. The return flight will leave Sharjah at 1.40 pm, and arrive at Thiruvananthapuram at 7 pm.
