Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange wants to hire James Damore, the Google engineer who was fired for violating the company's code of conduct by sending out a 'diversity memo'.
James Damore wrote a 10-page anti-diversity memo discussing the gender pay gap, Google's biases, personality differences between men and women, etc. According to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, he violated the company's code of conduct and hence was fired.
However, the Wikileaks founder feels otherwise. Assange feels that the engineer had the right to express his opinion and went on to offer him a job. He posted Damore's job offer on Twitter.
