With untimely and scare rains being observed in India, farmers in the agricultural state of Punjab are facing huge issues with the declining price of Basmati rice.

The farmers are protesting against the low price and are demanding a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 4200 to Rs 5000 per quintal from the government.
