Bengal govt should not delay action: Assocham

Chamber conglomerate Assocham today said the decision to exit Haldia dock by ABG would not impact investment flow in the long run, but the West Bengal government should also not delay action against those taking the law into their own hands.

    Chamber conglomerate Assocham today said the decision to exit Haldia dock by ABG would not impact investment flow in the long run, but the West Bengal government should also not delay action against those taking the law into their own hands.


    State's Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to urgently set up a fact- finding Committee and send strong signals so that law-abiding citizens amd investors were fully protected, encouraged and motivated, Assocham Secretary-General DS Rawat said in a statement.

    He stressed the need for setting up a transparent committee so that no one should have doubt about the policies of the state government.
