Kingfisher Airlines jumps 6.6% on stake sale buzz

Shares of Kingfisher Airlines (KFA), a private airline carrier, gained as much as 6.6% intraday on Friday as UB group is in talks with foreign carriers to sell stake in KFA.

Shares of Kingfisher Airlines (KFA), a private airline carrier, gained as much as 6.6% intraday on Friday as UB group is in talks with foreign carriers to sell stake in KFA.


CNBC-TV18 reported quoting sources that the UB Group has begun talks with international carriers to sell KFA stake. Three foreign carriers may be interested in buying KFA stake, say sources.


KFA has current debt at around USD 1.4 billion.


At 15:23 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 13.13, up 5.21% with volumes of 65,82,797 equity shares.

Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 1,061.85 crore.
