HCL Info pips TCS, bags Rs 2200cr Aadhaar contract

HCL Infosystems has beaten TCS to win RS 2200 crore contract from the Unique ID Authority of India to run the Aadhaar number repository and its IT infrastructure, reports The Economic Times.

HCL Info touched an intraday high of Rs 48.80 and an intraday low of Rs 46. At 09:26 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 46.65, up Rs 2.75, or 6.26%.
 
It was trading with volumes of 282,142 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 0.11% or Rs 0.05 at Rs 43.90.

Meanwhile TCS was quoting at Rs 1,222, up Rs 0.75, or 0.06%.
