Piramal Enterprises had acquired a nearly 11 percent stake from Vodafone‘s erstwhile partner, Essar, at a cost of Rs 5,900 crore. Vodafone Plc is now set to acquire it for Rs 8,900 crore, netting an internal rate of return of nearly 22 percent.
