Kingfisher Airlines flies into trouble yet again and this time around, it comes from the Mumbai International Airport (MIAL), reports CNBC-TV18.

The criminal court in Andheri, Mumbai has issued notices to KFA over cheques issued to MIAL that have bounced. The total value of cheques is Rs 15 crore and relates to parking, landing and other services rendered during 2011.

The cheques have been due since January 2012. This is the second instance of cheques bouncing, the first reportedly involved bounced cheques worth Rs 24 crore. However, sources at MIAL says that they did not take any legal action at that point.

While MIAL says it can't comment on the development, KFA too has not responded.
