IL&FS Transportation arm wins road contract in Haiti
Elsamex SA, the Spanish subsidiary of IL&FS Transportation Networks, has won a road contract in Haiti. The contract is worth 40.72 million Euro or about Rs 265.27 crore, IL&FS said on Monday.

Elsamex SA, the Spanish subsidiary of IL&FS Transportation Networks, has won a road contract in Haiti. The contract is worth 40.72 million Euro or about Rs 265.27 crore, IL&FS said on Monday. Elsamex has won the contract to carry out rehabilitation works on a 44.205 km road on Haiti's National Route 3 between Hinche and Saint Raphael, it said. The project is being funded by the European Union Development Fund and it has to be completed in 30 months, IL&FS said.Shares of IL&FS Transportation Networks were down 1.5% at Rs 207.10 on NSE on Monday morning.
