Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is facing an assassination threat, alleged party leader V Narayanasamy on Monday. He claimed that he had received a letter threatening to assassinate Rahul Gandhi.
Senior Congress leaders, including Ahmed Patel, Rajeev Shukla, Motilal Vora and Anand Sharma, will meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at 4 pm in New Delhi to discuss the threat letter.
According to the Congress, the letter says that party is responsible for the closure of industries and Rahul would be killed.
Rahul Gandhi is a Special Protection Group protectee.
