For me, the biggest insurance in this stock is JMFARC. If reliance held the stock all on their own, then they could do whatever they want. Since JMFARC is there they also want value creation. There is no way reliance will give RIL shares in exchange as that would mean they have to give JMFARC as well and they may not want that or reliance may not even give that. So eventually even a delisting means nothing fot them, when there is so much value in the property. They have put in efforts and changed the top management. As insiders tell me, it took a lot of time to let the old lethargic staff of alok go. It is not reliance style to fire anyone. They will make it clear that if you are not executing you are not worthy of the group. When the new management came in, surely they would have hired some people from their old contacts and the turnaround will begin. The only clue should be in the top line. If they sell more they can turnaround the company by cost measures. There is a genuine gap of about 250cr per qiarter which they have to earn extra. That will only happen if they double their sales. Now no one knows how soon that will happen. Let us wait and watch. View more
